Quick Update:
League is every other Tuesday at 9-10 (next one being the 9th) (Big Bumpin at White Apartments #5)
CGA Lan on Saturday at 2pm to midnight
Volleyball intramurals - a big possibility, come to the meeting to sign up!
That is all i can think of right now, more to come later!

News for Spring of 2010
Hey guys, I know i said i would update this so here I am. Just an update of things to come, we are having league either every Tuesday or every other Tuesday starting 1/26 at 9-10pm. For this weeks league we are playing in McGruder computer lab (but i do ask if we can keep the noise to a min. so as not to bug the other people in there) and are playing some type of PC game (right now we agreed on a Warcraft 3 custom map). Our plan for League is to switch domains every time so the next league will be Console-Oriented for those of you who don't play PC :p.
On a semi related note, we will be having another event, most likely a LAN, on the 6th at the usual time (2pm - midnight). For those of you who want more info, PM me on here or ask to get into Google Wave. Thanks

First Lan of Year!
Welcome to all our new members! Our first event for the year will be a LAN Party on Saturday, September 12th. There will be lots of gamezoring and fun times so be there.
Where: VH1232 Computer lab
When: 2:00pm-12:00am
Don't feel obligated to bring your computer b/c we have many games that we can put on the lab computers. It would be nice to have enough people to play L4D and TF2 though. Anyways, hope to see people there.
Also, don't forget to come to our meetings on Thursdays at 9:00, VH1010!

New Officiers and Plans for Next Year
Here is the list of officers for the next semester:
President: Dan Flieg
Vice President: Luke Watson
Secretary: Derek Rice
Treasurer: Will Adkins
PR: Phil Cook
League: Bob Barnhart
Plans for next year include implementing a video game rental system for all paying members, a big event every two weeks (beginning with a LAN on September 5th), and weekly league events at a public computer labs.
Everyone, try to say involved with us over the summer by using the forums. We would like to hear all your ideas and whatnot.

CGA Alumni Weekend + Console Night
If everyone didn't know, we have our alumni weekend March 27th-30th. It's going to be sweet with around 5-10 alumni as of now. Here's our schedule:
Friday:
Arrival for some
6:00-7:00 $5 Bellacino's Pizza
7:00-12:00 Hang out time with movies and console games- at White Apartments
Saturday:
12:00-1:30 BBQ - By C-Store
2:00-10:00 LAN - VH 1232
10:00-??? Barcrawl or (stay at LAN)
Sunday:
11:00-12:00 Brunch - Somewhere
1:00-3:00 CGA Outdoor Activites (because the REC is booked)
Also, A Night of Video Games is going to be on Friday April 3rd. We will have an NES, Genesis, N64, DC, PS2, Wii, 360, and PS3 all going to be there. Free pizza will also be provided, so no excuse not to stop by for a bit.
